Everyone was busy in the dungeons, interrogating the high priestess. I had been in a good mood for a while. Burying that box in Declan worked like magic for me. I didn’t have any nightmares about that battle anymore. Everything just faded away.
As everyone hustles about in the dungeons, I find myself alone in the house. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this much freedom, away from everyone always around me, watching, belittling, commanding and acting like I was a fragile kid. A sense of calm washes over me, I smile as I get out of bed, looking to explore the house.
I’d heard that the mansion had more than thirteen bedrooms, none of the warriors slept here, they had other houses around the forest and even in the compound and in town. It was a shock to learn that almost ……
