Elena's POV
"So what are you saying? That we've already completed the initial part of the ritual?" Mia slammed her fists into the table, and the glass shattered. I was startled, but Declan and my brother weren't even shaken.
"No, Mia, that's what the witch believes. But it's a rather complicated ritual, and the bracelet cannot be a big part of it."
"Are you kidding me? We got tricked by some old b***h, and she got you to keep the bracelet for five days. Within these five days, you heard your grandmother's voice inside your head, she sang you a lullaby, and then she told you to scream on the fields." Mia approached me, looking at me dangerously. "As far as I'm concerned, you bonded, and she trained you too."
"Mia, that's not what happened," I cried out.
