Ichigo relaxed almost instantly after the troubadour’s outburst, his gentle smile returning to his lips as the others stared at Elise. “Ah-ha...I am glad to see you’ve finally come to terms with this. Good. I shall stop needling you now, but we will need to discuss your health and best practices soon.”
“Pregnant…?” Astredian breathed, slowly turning to look at Ichigo, who only nodded. “She’s pregnant? Like...with a baby…?”
“No, with a full grown dinosaur.” Elise snapped, causing the guild commander to look at her again. “Yes, with a baby.”
She swallowed a little, immediately regretting her sharp words. Her lip quivered a little as the commander whispered, “My baby…?”
“Your baby.” Elise said softly, though she thought it was stating the obvious. She hadn’t been with anyone else since her ……
