“Who says you’re going to get me alone any time soon?” Elise replied softly, bringing her lips dangerously close to his before backing off with a smirk on her face. “You’re too beat for that kind of thing right now, anyway. Get something to eat, drink more water, and then rest for a while. And by rest, I mean rest, not work, or you’re going to pay for it tomorrow.”
The paladin gave Ellie an exaggerated pout, to which she rolled her eyes in response.
“I told you, no hanky panky until I’ve got you wrapped around my little finger.” Elise said, flicking his nose.
“Hey!” the paladin said, leaning away from the offending fingers, but she was already moving off to the door.
