Clarissa and I spent the day together and she was always so polite and respectful. I can't imagine how that fragile girl could be Poe's Mate?! They were so mismatched that this union was doomed to failure from the very start. It didn't take a genius to know that Blaise could walk all over her.
Clarissa spent the night in my Pack, but even though she seemed to enjoy my company, which was odd, because aside from Ruby and Pops almost no one ever did, she decided to leave Shore Wolves after breakfast the next morning.
Just as I was walking her off to her car, another one parked in front of my Pack House. Ahh Mister Beta.
Sig emerged from his truck and eyed me and Clarissa with worry. I saw Clarissa tensing up a little next to me.
