There was nothing small about this school. It was definitely larger than the number of students who were at summer camp would have indicated. Orchards and gardens surrounded the palace. Beyond the gardens were open pastures with horses, cows, and goats. Surrounding the stables were riding fields and out buildings for support services.
The knights rode straight up to the palace and entered a tunnel in the front center of the building into a courtyard. Two grand stone stairs flanked both sides of the tunnel, and rose up to a grand porch above the horse entrance. The grand entry door to the palace sat on the porch indicating the second floor served as the main floor and ground level contained services and offices.
