Wolf awoke in the nurse's office. He looked into the faces of the nurse and the Wolverine. When he tried to sit up, his mother firmly held him down. "You had a nasty fall; it seems you slipped."
"How?"
"The floor was very wet."
"Oh." Wolf thought a second. He didn't even remember falling. "I didn't see it."
"You've got to pay more attention to everything around you. But, I shouldn't have to tell you that."
The nurse gave Wolf a quick exam and pronounced him fit.
Wolf felt the back of his head, he had a bump and it hurt. He wasn't about to tell anyone about it, he didn't want to stay in the nurse's office for the rest of the day. He sat up and, reassuring his mother that he felt alright, begged permission to go to class.
The nurse restricted him from any physical activity for the rest of the day, ……
