Maria quickly headed out and flew out of the city with extreme haste. Flying would normally be prohibited for everyone, but Maria was an exception since she was part of Gaia's faction.
Also, even if the guards didn’t allow her, they wouldn’t be able to catch her. Using all of her wings and [Haste], Maria was able to achieve a flight speed of around Mach 0.3. It was quite fast and not something a real-life human on Earth would be capable of doing with their own body.
She could up that speed to around Mach 0.5 if it was in a straight line which was around subsonic speeds at that point. However, Maria wanted to push it even further and try flying at supersonic speeds in the future, but only if it was possible, of course.
