Volvoss was surprised by Maria’s strength that launched him away from his spot. Her speed also wasn’t something to scoff at and he had to reevaluate his opponent.
Maria waited for her opponent to get up and stabbed her ax into the ground before saying, “What I hate the most is people underestimating me. I’m going to humiliate you today.”
She put up her fist and taunted Volvoss to charge at her.
“You’re going to regret this, heathen!”
Volvoss stabbed his weapon towards Maria and thought that he had stabbed through her forehead only to see the image in front of him disappear in a puff of smoke.
