Maria was just about to dash into the portal but she quickly halted and turned around.
“Wait, Paipai, what about you?!”
“Forget about me! Just go!”
She could see that Paimon was completely surrounded by Mobius and his soldiers. He had tried to break through the encirclement a few times but Mobius’s soldiers were too well-coordinated that they didn’t give him any chance.
The gate was just next to her and if he could use his [Warp], he’d be able to quickly arrive next to the portal but all Paimon was doing was constantly warping around and dodging Mobius and his soldiers’ attacks while he slowly moved away from the portal.
Maria could understand what Paimon was doing. He was trying to keep the enemies on him so that she could be safe. He also did this to keep them distracte……
