"Keila! Where did you go again? I was waiting for you earlier," Jerry asked, frowning upon finally seeing Keila going back to the faculty now after all the morning classes.
Keila was still with Daevid, and almost instantly, they threw each other short glances of disgust before looking away while Jerry looked back at her.
"I'll go now, Miss Cervantes. I think I'll see you tomorrow," Daevid just said before turning back and going straight to the faculty room.
She faced Jerry with an apologetic look. "Sorry, Jerry. Sir Daevid and I are preparing for our classes earlier since the activity is hard and long. We need time to brief the students."
The excuse that she made up was pretty convincing, but the nervousness that she ft earlier with the students who almost caught them was beyond explain.
