"How are we going home?" Keila asked when they walked out of the police station and there was no car waiting for them outside.
"We take a cab," Daevid nonchalantly replied. "Thankfully, my car is still insured."
They didn't have a car because he just have to impulsively crash his car to the other when he could just simply honk so loudly to scare him off without necessarily breaking both of their cars.
Nonetheless, she was so thankful that he came for the second time for her because she didn't know where she would be found now if no help came.
Keila didn't receive any serious injury, though she got multiple bruises from the fall and scratches from being dragged by the old man, there was no other than those.
