Monday came, and everything went back to normal. The normal that she was used to doing before, the normal that she thought would last but was stopped for a moment because of a misunderstanding.
Daevid came to her house early in the morning to fetch her as they both went to the school and went inside but not going at the same time.
She went in first, feeling light and more relaxed than whenever she would go to school for the past days. There was already a smile on his face and not just pretending. They were more genuine smiles than what she was posing before when they weren't good.
Apparently, someone who had been watching her was able to tell the difference.
"You seem especially happy today, girl," Charlotte looked at her with a meaningful smile, looking at her face and observing her once agai……
