"She drank a lot. She's wasted and certainly not in the move to talk to anyone. Did you have a fight with her?"
Jonathan, Daevid's friend, opened the gate of his house for him while he waited for his wife to finish preparing and come out. He was one of his best friends, having known since college along with Lhian who she had been close with as well.
"No. We haven't fought lately, but we're also not too good. I don't know which is worse between the two."
Jonathan knew about the status of their marriage and how it was near on collapsing. No one knew why they were still holding on to their marriage and was still trying.
Like what Daevid's friends had always suggested, they should have been having fun by now celebrating their singularity if they would just divorce.
Yet, the problem wasn't with him.……
