"Axton, you truly are a funny kid. You remind me a lot of myself when I was your age." I told him.

"Really?" Axton asked skeptically.

I nodded.

"I was a grumpy kid too." I replied with a wink. "I wasn't as into girls as you are though. I had other things on my mind at the time."

"Like what?" Axton asked as he walked through the doors of the school.

"Like taking care of my family, protecting them," I said.

"I can understand that," he mumbled. "But no girls? Really?"

I snorted.

"Uhm, no," I replied honestly. "Not until I was 16 anyway. On my birthday, actually. A girl showed interest in me, and I went for it. Not that it turned out that great."

"She break your heart?" Axton asked in a teasing tone.
