Jane was sitting in the living room, going through some paperwork and reviewing some on her laptop, she took a sip from her glass and stretched her legs out on the table, the door bell dinged and she got up, it dinged again, “coming!” she yelled and removed her glasses and walked to get the door, “he..” she stopped as she saw no one by the door, she came out and looked left and right but no one was there, she stood for a while before walking back into the house.

She closed the door and she walked back to the living room, to her surprise her glass was gone  she looked around, she walked into the kitchen to get another glass and she met the glass on the counter then she peeped again at the table in the living room, “ I know I kept that there” she said and slowly reached for the glass, she added more juice and walked to the living room, she tilted the glass to her mouth and she noticed the door was wide open, she swallowed the liquid and slowly went to close the door.

  She sat and resumed back on her work, something caressed her hair, she didn’t really notice and even stopped to pack her hair into a bun, she felt ice on her neck and flinched, she dropped her laptop and got up, she walked to the back of the couch but nothing was there, then she heard things breaking upstairs , she hurriedly walked upstairs and noticed the noise was coming from the attic, she pulled the stairs down and climbed up to attic, all the empty cartons were on the floor and the shards of broken vases on the floor. She walked towards them and tried to pick it up but the broken glass cut her finger, “ow” she winced, she turned to go back down and she got whacked on the
