Stella Lockheed
I stood there frozen, like a character in a horror movie yelling at the screen, "Don't go in there!" But it wasn't a movie; it was my reality, and Tristan was in the thick of it, fighting some shadowy, smoke monster thing.
"Run, Stella!" Tristan's voice cut through the chaos, and I swear, if my legs had been on speaking terms with my brain, they would've laughed. I was rooted to the spot, watching the supernatural showdown like it was the messed-up feature presentation of the night.
The forest, which used to be my chill spot, turned into a twisted maze of creepy shadows. Tristan, my not-so-average hero, was dancing with the monster in a scene straight out of a nightmare. Fear slammed into me, turning my heart into a drum on steroids.
Time did its weird……
