After Lucas had made his exit from the library, I decided to stick around for a bit.
Mister Mittens seemed content to keep me company, and I appreciated his furry presence. There was something oddly comforting about having my pet Lumindale by my side, especially after believing he was gone for good.
I spent my time exploring the magical shelves, scanning for more intriguing books. As I wandered through the mystical texts, memories of my home library back in the manor crept into my mind. The one my dear old mom liked to call the Library of the Grand Sorceress of North Dakota. Such a mouthful.
I remembered how I used to venture into that library, but never too deep. It always served as a stark reminder of how different I was from my magically gift……
