Caldwell’s housekeeper was more than a little shocked when he drove up to the villa riding a police motorcycle and, as soon as she saw him, she ran out to greet him. “Caldwell,” she exclaimed, “what happened to you? Is everything okay?”
As he got off of the bike, Caldwell ignored her concern and he demanded to know where Aurora was. Seeing how serious he looked, she pointed back to the house and said, “I am pretty sure that she is in her bedroom; why, is something wrong?”
“I don’t know,” Caldwell replied. “Maybe there is. What has she been up to today?”
“Mrs. Foster has been behaving well today,” The housekeeper explained. “Except for meeting a friend, she’s been reading and studying all day.”
“Alright,” Caldwell said as he passed her and made his way into the house and up the stairs towar……
