Marvin wasn't too busy on that day. In a sense, he was finishing work ahead of time as the papers he was looking through weren't anything urgent. He wasn't necessarily required to sign them either. But as a diligent alpha, he took it as his responsibility to do most of the work himself.
In the quiet office, the ticking of wall clocks, turning pages and the occasional scribble of a pen was the only sound to be heard. In the calm atmosphere, Marvin was able to work efficiently. Until the door was knocked. The atmosphere shattered like glass.
"Come in."
Eric came in with a tray of coffee. It wasn't his job to bring it as there were people for it, but since he was on his way to the office, he brought it with him.
"Alpha, I received a phone call from Miss Juliette." Eric informed……
