"Weren't you the one who sent that girl to me?" Juliette answered him with a straight face.
"What?"
Marvin had been using that word an awful lot these days. Most of the time, it was in front of Juliette as he failed to understand how to respond to her.
"When she came to me with the food, she said it was sent by you. At that time, I believed her because you were the only one I had seen in the kitchen at the time and you knew I was hungry."
Juliette's explanation got him thinking that maybe the girl had been around them at that time and knew about this situation in the kitchen, so she used his name as a way to give her the poison.
If Marvin sent her food, then she'd definitely eat it without thinking twice and it also matched with their meeting in the kitchen. It was a perf……
