Well, today has been a s**t storm so far. I was feeling so good and energized this morning. Now, despite the fact that I've slept on and off since we got to this realm, I was feeling exhausted. It was strange how quickly the energy was being drained from me. At least it felt that way until Ahkari got hurt.
I knew the moment it happened. It was like I was the one being torn open. s**t f*****g hurt like a mother fucker. Not only did the wound itself hurt but the fear that coursed through my body when I realized it was my mate that was hurt... That pain was far worse. I know that my mate is unkillable, er, at least she doesn't stay dead. But that didn't make the fear easier.
Thankfully Bou had gathered himself fast and saved everyone's asses. I knew he was furious. Bou rarely ever got mad but w……
