Finally after two and a half days Max woke up. He rolled over on top of me, and used my boobs as a pillow. I was trying to hold in my laughter, but quickly lost my grip when he started rubbing his head into me. He was clearly comfortable, and my giggling was doing little to bother him.
We were having a good morning, or at least I thought. So, when Max started to look for his shoes to leave an almost overwhelming sadness set in my gut. I didn't understand what I did wrong.
Honestly, I didn't think I was going to get an answer from him, so I was willing to let him go. Maybe Belle could tell me what I did wrong.
Thankfully, I got my answer quickly, and was able to talk it out with my mate. Even though I haven't marked him, and he doesn't even know we're mates, the bond is still working.
