The nightmare I had was just the same as it always was. It was barely even a nightmare, more like a memory. That night that Bianca almost got hurt. I know we were kids, I didn't have any kind of strength to help then. But I never stopped beating myself up over it. It took a long time for Bianca to prove to me that she could protect herself. Even after that I kept an eye on her. The weakness I always felt when having that nightmare was damn near unbearable.
When I woke up it took me a few moments to realize where I was. My eyes settled on Acaisia for a moment before I turned away. I didn't want her to see me shook up but it was already pretty obvious. Instead I had put my head in my hands and tried to calm down. When Acaisia wrapped her little soft body around me everything else faded away. ……
