I woke the next morning after having one of the most peaceful nights of sleep. That was the best sleep I've had in weeks. Smiling, I rolled away from the window, and burried my head in my pillow.
Ugh, I never want to move. Slowly, the thoughts of what happened last night came back.
Max almost rejected me, or at least, I thought he was going to. I suspected that the supernatural side of Max was the one that teleported me out of the kitchen before Max could reject me. Which made me wonder how powerful he is exactly.
I'm even sure if that was something I could do. Max has definitely got to be a God.
This other side of Max wants me at least. That side of him must feel the mate bond. I guess I should have known that after the first time we met, but I wasn't sure any of him still wanted me after fin……
