He snapped a look at Gretna who is approaching him, her hands raised as if he would actually welcome her touches when she did not even stop a disastrous fight between a man who is very loyal to her and someone who does not even care for her. She did not even react, in any way, when Makt had fallen—the man who has defended her and was not even given a hint of appreciation until his death.
Before, he only felt indifference toward Gretna. Now, there is hate because of how badly she treats people.
He started to walk away, wanting to get away from the woman and also from the dead man on the ground. That is when he saw Reid and the Holy One standing next to the largest tent in the camp. They were there all along and they did not even stop Makt from attacking and even on the man’s last b……
