Let's start with a nine-year-old girl, aka me, trying to be part of a musical in her drama class that was to be performed in front of the entire school, for a school function. She couldn't of course because she wasn't the perfect size they wanted or child of her age are supposed to look like. Yes, teachers had that standard they imposed on the kids. So, I ended up not getting it. I was fine and all about it until the theme changed to a musical from dancing and singing kind of thing to a full Jungle safari musical, with many animals. I remember the teacher came to my class, specifically asking me to come and be a part of the musical. With great joy, i agreed only to find that she wanted me to be the elephant in her drama. I wasn't that big, but I was taller than most of the girls in my class. Boys were to be lion and bear, so girl have to be humiliated. Wait for the pt.2 I feel they ingrained male privilege in society, even women victimizes other women most of the chances.
