“Okay, everybody. Line up. The audition starts in an hour. Make sure you have your name tags with you before you enter. There is a waiting room inside, you can wait there for your turn.” She announced, holding a notepad in her hands and scrutinizing her wristwatch, then noted something down as she watched the crowd with an intense gaze tugging her rectangular glasses up on her nose and went back inside, clicking her shoes on the tiled floor.

I held my phone in my sweaty hands nervously. It wasn’t my first audition, nor was the wait that concerns me. I was just as nervous as anyone else standing around me. My palms were sweating and my thumping fastened as the time crept closer.

“you can be as great as your father.” Words of my mom surrounded my thinking, leaving no space ……
