I was back in my room again. Staring out the window trying to make sense of what had just happened. Everything had happened so fast. One minute I was enjoying flying on Blane’s dragon, feeling at peace and calm as I ever had in my life, then I was kissing him and now this new revelation. Our dragons were bonded, they were mates. I had never even had a boyfriend, now I had a mate. It all felt very surreal, just like everything else since arriving here on Dragoona.
I wanted to talk to Blane more about what this new development meant, but he was in such a rush to get asway from me, that we had not even walked back from the cove. He had shifted, dropped me off near the castle courtyard and flown off again. Now, here I was feeling completely alone and confused as to what I should do……
