Chapter 7 Where Bone Remembers Wind

So this all happened because Amihan was starting to lose herself, her name, her identity, her place in the world.
The forest stepped in to stop that from going too far.
So it called something older and stronger: her father, now a Bone Warden. He returned to anchor her, to keep her from being completely taken or "offered" to other forces.
But it comes with a cost, he binds himself deeper to the forest, and Amihan becomes more tightly bound to it as well.
So the forest sort of saved her... but made her part of it in a way that can't easily be undone.
