I took a sip of champagne, looking away from him, hoping he would leave me alone.
“You’re wearing a custom design dress from Mauricia Lecroux, aren’t you?” He made me turn around as I didn’t really want to be rude, letting him talk to my half-bare back.
“You know the designer? She isn’t that famous among people.” I tried keeping this short. Something didn’t feel right at all. All my senses were screaming at me to just walk away and find someone from my friends among all these people. There were over hundred guests mingling. Finding my friends who arrived at a different time than me and Ben would be hard. I didn’t even check which table we were sitting at.
“Yes, she only makes dresses for a few people who she decides to work with. You came up with the design?” He was making me want to go aw……
