Rendra's Poem of Hani

I know you are not looking at me

But I can’t help but get mesmerized with those eyes of yours

I know you are not smiling at me

But I can’t help but admire that friendly expression of yours

I can see that free-spirit vibes from you

From the way she shifts her eyes to somewhere else

From the way she is swaying her body

From the way she hugs one of her legs while listening to others

How can you still look as charming as I remember?

You are free-spirit yet still full of respect

I can spot you from the crowd

You look astounding among the others

And I love so many things about you

How you bring yourself

How you positioned yourself in any situations

How you lean your arm on the armchair

How you lean your body on the up chair

How you clasp your hand

When I listen to you closely

I can picture how you put a smile on your face with that soft eyes of yours 

Am I drunk?

Then I notice that you always try to keep being calm

While hiding your trembling hands

Strangely, I can see it

That nervousness beneath your quiet face

Or am I reading too much?

I wish you can get comfortable with me

Because I want to comfort you

Ensuring you that everything will be alright

So that sweet smile of yours can stay forever
