Chapter Eight
The next morning Madeleine was tired, the previous night had been a restless one for her. all the painful and desperate cries, the groans from the patients and those fighting at the main gate entrance occupied her thoughts and turned the tour into an unforgettable one.
Yet despite being tired, she decided to go for a walk and take in some fresh air outside around the building to clear up her thoughts. Walking sadly around the building alone with her messed up thoughts, it was quiet and a bit chilled. Flowers and grass along the building were wet with the morning dew and the soil of the field was moistened. She liked the smell of the soil.
