I don't know how long Trina and I stayed like that. Eventually, I stopped sobbing uncontrollably. I didn't move off of her shoulder though. I was too embarrassed to look her in the eyes.
Unfortunately, my bestie is not the most patient person.
"Okay, listen," Trina said as she pushed me back and began wiping my tears. "What do you want to do?"
I gave her a confused look.
"I thought we just went over that I don't want to do anything." I said flatly.
"No, I know," Trina replied. "I know that you don't want to talk to the police or your mom. I know how much money all their families have. My family has money, and even I would probably not rock the boat either."
At least she understands.
"However, I don't think we should just do nothing," she said.
I furrowed my brow.……
