I just popped in with Vessa. We've been popping in every day over the last few days. Bringing them water, food, toys, clothes. Anything that I could get my hands on.
"I told you, it's Mate Week where we're from. This is all left over stuff. If you don't eat it, it'll be wasted." I said as I dropped down the last tray of food.
Vera chuckled at me.
"You do too much for us." She said.
I shrugged as I turned to her.
"Maybe I'm just trying to butter you up. Ya know, so that one day you'll think about leaving this place." I said.
