Chapter 16: Akeehla's P.O.V.

             ~ A Couple Of Months Later ~

It's been a couple of months since school started now. Mckenna seems to be doing well. She fits right in with Anessa's group.

Thankfully, Mckenna hasn't told anyone about what happened between us. I thought about asking her not to at one point. I even went as far as I walk up to her.

Then I started to hear her panicked thoughts. Mckenna was terrifed that I was going to tell someone, or say something in front of all of those people. So, I picked a piece of lint from her shoulder, and walked off.

Losing my second chance mate has it's pro's and con's. At least now I don't have to worry about more rejections. A third mate is unheard of. There is no way that the Moon Goddess would be cruel enough to reject……
