Even before I could open my eyes, I could see the light. The Angel disappeared from my dream, leaving me still falling into an endless abyss. However, not long after Raphael’s voice vanished, a blinding radiance jolted me awake. The familiar starless orange sky of the Second Hell greeted my eyes. Amias stood in front of me, his fairly aged face against the backdrop of the desolate and barren land. “Amias,” I breathed, feeling a tightness around my wrists. My mind was still hazy from the dream that I struggled to make sense of what’s happening. “What happened?”
“Are you back to yourself, Samuel?”
I furrowed my brows at him. I tried to stand up, but something was restricting my movements. A sharp stinging sensation flared across the length of my arm. My mouth fell open as I saw why I wasn’t ab……
