Kate was so grateful for Lisa; she was always willing to support any decision she made. She needed a good friend to confirm what she and Cassie thought, "Lisa, do you also believe that I am weak?"

Hearing her friend's thoughts, Kate smiled bitterly, "I don't know why I am persisting, though. There is no way that I will be able to get what I want."
