Cosette relaxed. Peter knew of her relationship with Edward, which saved her any embarrassment.
As she looked at Edward, she felt warm stirrings in her heart.
It wasn't a big deal. Edward could have asked Anna to tell Elliot that she was taking a little time off, but he had gone right to the top and asked Peter to do it!
Edward was giving a clear message that Coton Group highly valued Cosette.
Cosette didn't know what to say.
"Hey!" she called out as Edward dragged her into his arms.
"Don't you know that men are easily excited?" Edward said.
"What?" Cosette blushed and looked at Edward innocently.
As she gazed at him with shining eyes, a fire rose in Edward's heart.
"Don't seduce me," he murmured.
