Other Shore, on the way to the Great River.
“Leui.” Tinum called in a soft voice as he turned to Leui.
It was already night and the Cold Fire Insects were flying around their boat, illuminating the dark water beneath them as well as their surroundings. Leui caught one of them earlier and carefully placed it inside a transparent bottle, with holes on its lid, for the Cold Fire Insect to breathe. They then used the bottle, with a Cold Fire Insect inside, and hung it on the ceiling of their boat to illuminate the inside of their boat.
“What is it?” Leui asked and turned to Tinum when he heard the other had called him. He was still rowing their boat that is slowly floating on the water.
Mhir splits up their foods and Gie is juicing the fruits they picked from the branches lowly hanging above t……
