Khander suddenly laughed. “Can’t I?” he asked.
Dawey’s expression remained unchanged. “Next time, you have to invite me with a reason.” He told him. “Or else, I won’t come.” He said as he resumed slowly slicing the meat on his plate.
Khander nodded in agreement, as if he is the subject and Dawey is the king. “I will take note of that next time.” He answered.
Dawey didn’t answer, ignoring what Khander said that he will be inviting him again next time. “So, what do you want to talk about?” he asked. “If it is about the Fleur and the chief knight – “ he said.
Khander cut him off. “’former’ chief knight.” He frowned.
Dawey decided not to argue with him. “Yes. Him.” He spoke. “They have safely arrived in the Sallia Kingdom. But, they still haven’t met any magicians yet.” He told him.
