Malinois liked to work out hours per day. They were a seriously high-energy breed. Lucy used to come back from an eight-hour patrol that kicked every single SEAL’s butt including his own. And the first thing she’d do in camp was fetch a ball or Frisbee and drop it into his lap so that she could play.
Brandy looked as if she hadn’t left her dog cage in months. Definitely have to talk to Jodie about that.
He was leading Brandy back to shore when he heard a wolf whistle.
Patrick and Lauren were sitting up on their horses—Lauren was doing the whistling. Rip, the Malinois that had adopted Lauren the minute she arrived on the ranch, sat happily near the horses. Stan flashed a stay signal when Rip started to rise; he didn’t want Brandy feeling pressured when she was so tired.
