I can’t believe I’m finally here.. the Alstroemeria Arcane Academy! I’ve worked my entire life to get an invitation to this academy. My parents were both strong mages.. but when they passed.. I was sent to live at the LockHeart Orphanage, I secretly practiced my magic, making sure to accumulate more and more power. I wanted to prove myself.. of course, I had to be careful. Practicing magic around regular humans made things nearly impossible, seeing as how I wasn’t supposed to get caught by non magic users. Luckily, as long as I did my chores, and worked my a** off, I was ignored enough to be able to sneak away at night into the woods behind the orphanage and practice. Now, it was all worth it, I finally made it to the Academy! I finally get to love my dream, and my parents dream for me. I smiled stepping into the massive academy halls for the first time. This school is for the magically adept men and women, 18 years and up. There are other schools for younger children, but growing up in the orphanage, I didn’t get the chance to go to any of them. None of it matters now though, all of the pain, the suffering, the heartbreak, and loss, it all lead me to where I am now, they all lead me here.
