Chapter 15: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Owen waits on the sidewalk before he goes in, so that the lunch counts as his idea — that's the chapter to me. He's counted his money twice, he pays in cash, and he hands Rennie the seat where she can watch the street. He's holding the edges of a deal he can't see all of, and he does it politely, which is somehow worse. What did you make of Vesper asking Rennie about him right in front of him?
