Looking at George’s farms in the distance while hearing George’s words, Edison felt his heart beating out of his chest. If he became the owner of these farms, that would make him the richest man in the village. All those farms were worth more than millions of dollars, which was a big sum of money for anyone.
Of course, Edison knew George was not dumb enough to give him everything. But even if he did not give him all his farmland, Edison could still benefit from his business and his cooperation with the big businesses from the city. He had his way to turn them all into his clients.
He was not the only one thinking about these assets, Gina’s cousins were targeting George’s farms as well. Everyone else could see that they were after his legacy in that they assisted in almost everything Geo……
