The basket was already on Gary’s back, but he was not going to leave without Edison. Seeing Edison standing close to his wife already made him feel uncomfortable.
Connie seemed to be flirting with Edison. Gary only hoped that he was overthinking.
He knew well that Edison and Connie went out a lot when they were kids. Connie would not have married Gary if Edison had not been admitted to the college in the city.
Gary married Connie because Edison had left the village. He had to live with it though he felt anxious ever since Edison had come back to the village.
“Why are you still here? Go back now.” Gary gave orders to Connie like a chief ordering his solider. Connie rolled her eyes at Gary, “Grumpy old man!”
Then she turned around and wiggled her hips seductively……
