"What in the hell is going on?" Sutaura asks no one in particular, her sadness evaporating and confused anger replacing it.
"I'm not sure, but whatever it is, there's no chance of our getting in there today," Carter says and points to the innumerable rows of Perfect-like soldiers in the backdrop. Most of them are foot soldiers, armed to the teeth, but others pilot large robotic exoskeletons, identical to those Acera spotted in Cantil's garage.
"It's an army," Acera says, studying the soldiers, all of which look very much like oos, but they are bigger, seem stronger and have a fiery red complexion, with eyes like black beads and their faces are masks, showing no thought or feeling, perhaps save bloodlust.
There is much debate going on at the meeting, but Lucile quickly silences everyone by rai……
