"Now, that we've got all of that out of the way, can everyone except for my son and Rebecca, please leave the room? I would like to have a word with them in private"
Oh s**t, what now?.
It's never a good thing when your parents wanna talk to you alone, especially with your mate there as well.
Everyone left the room and Rebecca's parents took Jace and Ashley with them promising to feed and bathe them for us before putting them to bed.
When everyone left and the room was empty, a weird silence filled the room.
It wasn't an uncomfortable silence but it wasn't comfortable either.
"Calm down, Frankie, you're making me feel nervous"

I look over at my mate and smile at her as I give her hand a comforting squeeze.
