When I first started going through puberty and my dad was giving me and my brother one of his many manly chats including ones about the birds and the bees and about our mates, he would often tell us this quote when he did.
He'd tell us 'today's little moments become tomorrow's precious memories'.
I always found it odd and wondered why he would always tell us this so one day when I was a lot older, I asked him why he'd bring this up during every conversation we had about mates and he said that he wanted all of his children to know that every moment we have with our mates are incredibly precious and ones that we will cherish for the rest of lives and our afterlives.
My dad even said that the bad times or ones where we have to work incredibly hard to make sure our mates are always happ……
