Annie and Hugh discussed plans for the weekend over a leisurely late lunch at an Italian restaurant in town.
“I’ve found a place we can go for a run and it only takes half an hour to drive there, there’s a few villages that we will need to avoid but it ought to be deserted at night.” said Annie over coffee.
“Sounds perfect.” Hugh replied smiling at how pleased this made Knox, he wanted nothing more than to be with Sabine again. After lunch, they had a wander through the town before going home and changing into all weather gear for that night’s run.
William saw them return to Annie’s and thought they were done for the night, so he was surprised to see them exit the house a few hours later and climb into Cr……
